Tagline: An epic war is beginning to forge itself"

Synopsis: In a distant galaxy, the planet Fellicou is a tranquil setting in which its beings have discovered the secret to a prolonged life span. Among them is a young warrior (DiCaprio) feeling that his purpose has some greater meaning. As time goes on, the danger grows. The planet Necronom, ruled by the furious General Archrin (Irons), along with his captain (Owen) and other soldiers (Bana, Futterman) plans to invade the planet and travel to its core where he hopes to discover the planet’s secret. Walson’s fiancée (Portman) is continuously worried about this, and a counsel of elders (Hurt, Freeman, Mirren, Hoffman) try their best to determine the best plan of action. They want a more diplomatic approach, but the planet’s leading general (Crowe), and his soldiers (Studi, Gyllenhaal, Philippe, Leto, Brody) find the only solution is war. The battle will wage. The question is which side will win.

What the press would say:

Everyone recalls those famous and striking images of H.R. Giger’s work from the first Alien film and that wonderful design is present here as well. The dark, twisted and disturbing sets add to the heightened intensity of the piece. David Fincher and Vincent Ward were two of the people screwed from the infamous Alien3 and their fusion in talent creates a mysterious story with fantastic dialogue, along with a magnificent collaboration with Dan Futterman, and a great sense of dark vision from the director. DiCaprio and team are truly great and the Necronom actors are also wonderful in their ability to act in such heavy makeup. The final scene shows invading spaceships on the boarders of Fellicou ready to attack, indicating a cliffhanger. Audience and critical response will influence the decision for a continuation. The campaign hopes so for more chances at these nods:
