Synopsis: Howard Hemphill is a high school music teacher who moves into a new house with his girlfriend of two years, Linda White, an aspiring rock star. one night as he is unpacking he finds a box of letters from a list actress Josephine Rochefort. He calls his parents and the next day they show up at his door at six in the morning all the way from Nebraska to tell him he's adopted. He decides to take a trip to Hollywood to meet his mother but she doesn't want anything to do with him. He spends every penny he has trying to meet with her untl he finally just decides to give up. Josephine shows up at his school one day in the middle of class asking to be forgiven but Howard has had enough. Can he learn to forgive a selfish woman or will he never reconcile with his true mother?
